Suzie Coop presents: A Tribute to the Music & Dance of Janet Jackson

Janet Jackson Tribute

The endless awards winning and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, JANET “Damito Jo” JACKSON, is the 10th and youngest member of the Jackson family.  For almost 50 years, she has dazzled the world as a dancer, singer, songwriter, and actress beloved for her innovative, socially conscious, sexually provocative songs, AND her incomparable, mesmerizing stage performances.  Janet’s many genius producers, like my favs Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, along with her phenomenal choreographers and choreography were not only the catalyst for the explosion of MTV, they expressed the culture of our lives, set the bar high, and provided the blueprint and inspiration for many famous artists and groups that imitated her style, thereafter.  Creating lyrics focused on her life experiences, cultural issues, breaking gender barriers, racial indifference, family, love, relationships, and fun which catapulted her into becoming not a triple, but a quadruple threat and iconic role model who is still on FIRE to this day!

AND, it’s about HEART HEALTH! The American Heart Association, American Stroke Prevention, and others estimate that 80% of heart diseases and strokes are preventable.  I’m Susan Cooper, I’m over 50, and I challenged myself to learn Janet’s choreography. After retiring from 35 years with Verizon IT – Sr, Project Executive, I created “My Heartitude (www.myHEARTitude.com),” to inspire longevity through movement and challenge people to develop a new attitude toward heart health. We CAN eradicate these diseases!   Who better than Janet Jackson – one of the BEST, to represent longevity through DANCE (at any age), while we also share valuable heart health and stroke prevention information, rockin’ to some of Janet Jackson’s top hit songs! Come and see us!  General Admission is $30.  VIP tickets are $42.50
