On Friday, June 26th , BRENCORE Entertainment and the Bowie Center for the Performing Arts will present “A Night of Jazz.” This special event will feature international recording artists Stanley Cooper, Kevin Levi, Tony “Bassman” Hinton, and Leroy “Scooter” Taylor. These talented musicians have been an integral part of the Washington, DC Metropolitan music scene for many years.
A Night of Jazz: Featured Musical Tributes
The concert will showcase a series of musical tributes, each performed by a celebrated artist:
Stanley Cooper – Lead Guitarist
Stanley Cooper will pay tribute to renowned guitarists George Benson, Ronny Jordan, and Norman Brown.
Leroy “Scooter” Taylor – Keyboardist
Leroy “Scooter” Taylor will honor George Duke, Herbie Hancock, and Phil Davis through his keyboard performances.
Kevin Levi – Saxophonist
Kevin Levi will deliver tributes to David Sanborn, Grover Washington Jr., and Usher.
Tony “Bassman” Hinton – Bassist
Tony “Bassman” Hinton will feature the music of Marcus Miller, Nathan East, and Brian Bromberg as part of his tribute.
