Bowie Senior Chorale Presents: Rock On! Spring Concert

The Bowie Senior Chorale’s spring concert is a party, with all the songs you love and love to sing. Whether it’s Queen, Bon Jovi, Abba, or Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline,” it will be hard not to join in on these popular classics that thrill audiences in stadiums and concert halls alike. Chorale Director Craig L. Sparks says, “Don’t hold back, feel the music.” Sparks has directed the Chorale for the past two decades and plans a program with both the Chorale and the audience in mind. He is a noted conductor, composer, performer and music teacher and has guided the Chorale to be one of the community’s most beloved performing arts organizations. Paula Sparks, the Chorale’s talented accompanist, has been with the Chorale almost as long as Craig and brings her musicality and a deft touch to each song.

The Bowie Senior Chorale is a program of the City of Bowie Senior Center. The Chorale rehearses at the Senior Center on Thursday afternoons from August through May to prepare for the holiday and spring concerts. The Chorale welcomes new members. You don’t need musical training but just enjoy singing with others. Please visit at any of our rehearsals to see what fun we have and to see if you would like to join.
